Because they are albinistic (lacking dark pigment), their pinkish color is actually a combination of their internal tissues and a light orange tint on their shell. Their "circumtropical" genetics mean they are far more adaptable to different household environments than the more sensitive "Rubber Ducky" or "Amber" Cubaris species.
